What the discount applies to
We are specific about this so there are no surprises on the invoice. The discount comes off our fee — the R2,450 application charge. It does not come off the things we pay out to someone else, because we cannot discount money that is not ours:

The SAPS fingerprint fee (R190 each) and courier are charged at cost per applicant, as they always are. On a batch of 26, the 30% discount is R735 saved per person — R19,110 across the group.
How a batch actually runs
- One coordinator, one conversation We deal with a single point of contact on your side — an HR manager, an office administrator, a placement lead — rather than every applicant individually.
- We send a pack The SAPS fingerprint form, a checklist for each applicant, and the guidance note for whoever takes the prints. You distribute it; people get fingerprinted wherever they are.
- Documents come back to us Completed forms and certified ID copies, together or as they arrive. We check every one before it is submitted.
- We submit, track and report The whole batch goes in, and you get status on the group rather than having to ask about each name.
- One consolidated invoice Not twenty-six separate ones. Delivery to a single address or individually, whichever suits.
Accumulating to a tier
You do not have to submit everyone on the same day. Applications can be accumulated over a rolling 30-day window, and the discount applies once you reach the threshold. If a batch grows past a tier boundary partway through — from 24 to 26, say — we apply the higher discount and credit the difference. You are never penalised for the batch turning out larger than planned.
Timing for groups
The SAPS Criminal Record Centre processes each application on its own; a batch does not go faster or slower than a single file, and the two-to-four-week range still applies. What a batch removes is the administrative drag on your side — the chasing, the separate invoices, the not knowing where things stand. If you have a fixed date the whole group must clear by, tell us and we will tell you honestly whether it is realistic.
Clearances going abroad
If the group's clearances are for use in another country — a teaching cohort to the Gulf, nurses registering in the UK or Australia — most will need an apostille or embassy attestation as well. We can run the legalisation as part of the same batch at R1,650 per apostille. Tell us the destination and we will quote the batch complete rather than piecemeal.
